So, here it goes! I’ve been dithering and debating for months and months whether to start up a blog or not. Will people read it? Will my voice be heard? Will I be a success? I guess I will never know until I try.
I will start with a little introduction and tell you what to expect from my blog.
So, as my website address would suggest, I am a mum, called Lucy. I live in the Home Counties. I am a married to my long suffering (but much loved) husband Mr S, and I am a stay-at-home parent through choice, spending my days caring for our two children.
We have a 6 year old son, and a 3 year old daughter. We also have a mad as a box of frogs cocker spaniel puppy and a pet rabbit (who runs feral in our back garden that my children tell me they love but I see no evidence of this actually being true, she just eats all my plants and then leaves droppings everywhere for me to deal with!)
Anyway, what can you expect from my blog?
Well, first and foremost I am a mum. I spend my days ensuring that they are happy and healthy. As sad as it sounds, my world revolves around them and they are my number 1 priority. (Oh dear, I really need to get out more!)
We love to go on family days out, whether it be a walk in the woods with the dog, a visit to a landmark or museum, or a weekend exploring a new city.
I love kids fashion, probably more than I love women’s fashion if I’m honest! I take pride in my children’s appearances, and love trawling websites looking at the latest trends for them.
I am fairly creative, and my girl in particular also absolutely adores arts and crafts, so I’m sure plenty of that will feature too.
We recently bought our family home. A modest 3 bed semi in a busy little town. Although it was in lovely condition when we moved in, it wasn’t really to our taste, so at the moment we are ‘making it our own.’
Like I say, I am fairly creative and I love a good project! Mr. S rolls his eyes every time I come up with new suggestions- (most days if I am honest!)
So there you have it. My very first post! There will be other snippets of things you will learn along the way.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little segment of the internet!
